Happy New Year!!!
Yes, I know Christmas was last week. Hence the throwback to last Thursday and last Christmas. :-)
This Christmas photo lateness has absolutely nothing to do with the previously mentioned procrastination. I promise!

She was so tiny and look at how short her hair was! She was only 10 months old and really didn't understand the concept of presents and being completely spoiled by everyone yet.
We had to coax and teach her how to get into her presents
She definitely enjoyed learning how to rip the paper! It has since become one of her favorite things to do to pass the time. The evidence is on my living room floor most of the time.
This Christmas was so much fun!
Since she is so lovingly spoiled, she had learned what presents were over the past year and exactly what to do with them in plenty of time for this Christmas morning.
She has also, more recently,
learned the concept of possession.
When she saw her presents she said, "Kingi's presents!"
Kingi is what she calls herself.
Paper started flying and the rest is a blur. Good thing I got pictures!

A New Year's throwback!
This was 2013 New Year when I was still waiting to meet my beautiful McKenzie!
Note the pregnant, slightly bloated face since you can't see
my huge pregnant belly or my pregnant swollen cankles. Haha.
I hope the first day of your new year is a great one and I can't wait to see what this year has in store for all of us!
